Quality Welding has been part of Charlottesville since 1973. What started as a local welding shop has spent more than fifty years building, repairing, and fabricating metal for homeowners, contractors, and businesses across Central Virginia.
We are a family-owned company led by owner Jason Dickerson, son of founder Lewis Dickerson who started the shop in 1973. Our crew handles everything from a single weld on a broken part to full structural steel packages and custom spiral staircases. We are AWS and ASME certified and licensed as a Class A Virginia contractor.
We work two sides of the same trade to one standard. For homeowners, that means custom railings, gates, fences, stairs, ladders, and ornamental iron. For contractors, that means steel take-offs, shop drawings, field welding, and code-compliant structural fabrication.
